A Day in the Life of a Philadelphia Wedding Photographer

Alan Tu, the editor of the Chestnut Hill/Mt. Airy section on NewsWorks.org asked me to document a day in the life of a Philadelphia wedding photographer. I followed Mt. Airy photographer Laurie Beck Peterson around for eleven hours as she and her second photographer, Heather Fowler, hustled from place to place in Philadelphia. Laurie and Heather documented Angela and AJ’s special day. Many of AJ’s relatives traveled from Nigeria to be there for the wedding. And the DJ played some great Afrobeat, including plenty of Fela Kuti.
