Matisyahu Festival of Light 2012 Tour
Matisyahu rocked the Electric Factory with is “Festival of Light” 2012 tour last night: 12/12/12. The stage was decorated with a giant picture from the cover of his most recent album, Spark Seeker, and a giant menorah. In the center of the ceiling of the Electric Factory a giant dradle disco ball spun, reflecting the stage lights, truly making the show a Festival of Light. Matisyahu played a mix of old and new songs, including his latest “Happy Hanukkah,” for which all download proceeds will be donated to victims of Hurricane Sandy. He finished up with an encore that included “King Without a Crown” and an extended version of “One Day,” during which Matisyahu invited the crowd to climb on stage. It was a great way to celebrate Hanukkah even if you’re not Jewish.
