Schuylkill Soiree – Friends of Schuylkill Banks

The Friends of Schuylkill Banks hosted the annual “Schuylkill Soiree” fundraiser on Saturday, September 15 along the Schuylkill River Trail. The weather couldn’t have been better, and attendees enjoyed food, drink, and music. Pitruco Pizza baked up a variety of pies from spicy garlic, to radicchio, to the traditional margherita. In addition, The Dapper Dog provided several gourmet hot dogs and an Italian sausage with red sauce and provolone. For dessert, Little Baby’s Ice Cream dazzled the crowd with such creative flavors as Cardamom Caramel, Red Velvet Spodee Chocolate Swirl, and Balsamic Banana. Delco Nightingale serenaded the soiree with sweet retro-rockabilly style songs, as people picnicked  on the lawn. It was a fantastic occasion. Here are a few shots from the evening.
